Description
The yellowed dugout fishing canoe lay on the beach in the village of L'Anse la Raye on the Caribbean island of St Lucia. In the background, boats are at anchor in the aquamarine water of the Caribbean Sea. The image is framed by overhanging leaves.
L'Anse la Raye is named for the rays which swim in the bay. The village also has a small craft market on the beach.
