I awoke to this stunning sunrise over Allport Bay on Lake Muskoka. As I stood inside, looking out through the screen door, I wondered how this gorgeous dawn scene would appear if the photograph were taken through the screen and you can see the outcome. The peaceful view was enhanced by the pink sky and the green grass framed by the trees. An empty chair or an empty kayak awaited my choice of how to start the day.

Lake Muskoka is one of the big four lakes in the Muskoka District of Ontario along with many smaller lakes. Summer cottages / vacation homes line the shores of most of the lakes here.
