Description
Driftwood Beach is a must see for anyone who visits Jekyll Island Georgia, but being there at dawn as the sun rises is an ethereal experience.
Beach erosion and the salt water lead to the death of trees which ultimately fall. Then a combination of sun, salt, sand, and water sculpt the wood over time resulting in these wonderful pieces of natural art.
