Description
The scenic lighthouse and lighthouse keeper's home on Long Point in Newfoundland stands on a cliff over 300 feet above sea level. It was built in 1876. Whales can be seen here, and in the spring so can icebergs. There are scenic hiking trails, and the nearby picturesque town of Twillingate is also worth a visit.
