There had been a snowfall the previous day, and I went for a drive to a spot I had wanted to photograph in the winter. The old barn is on a farm in rural Muskoka, Ontario. Its weathered, rustic appearance on a cloudy winter day suited a black and white presentation.

My main photography interests are landscapes and wildlife and my camera is never far from me. I live in Muskoka, the heart of Ontario's 'cottage country' and this provides endless photo opportunities. When I travel, I love to capture my away experiences on camera and bring them home with me.
