Description
This 1956 Austin Princess A135 hearse was once owned by John Lennon who purchased it in 1971. It had been a working hearse prior to Lennon's purchase. It was used in the documentary film "Imagine". Lennon later had it refitted with two rows of airline seats.
This classic vehicle was up for auction at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale AZ in 2017 and sold for just under $160,000.
